ABOUT AMATEUR FISHING CLUB CR

The Amateur Fishing Club was founded on June 11, 1946, at the initiative of a group of fishing lovers, and in view of the lack of an association to represent them, from that moment and to date we organize tournaments, gatherings and other activities to do what we like the most.

We are affiliated with the International Light Tackle Tournament Association since 1967, which is the entity that affiliates sport fishing clubs.

It also integrates the FECOP, which is the Costa Rican Federation of tourist fishing, which works hard to promote conservation, sustainability and employment opportunities in the sport fishing sector.
